The other day I was reminiscing about my days of travel and it's occurence was at a more regular frequency back then! I was horrified to work out that my last time to a foreign country that I'd never been to before was way back in 2006! Seeing other cultures and traveling the world I feel, opens up your eyes to a whole multitude of inspiration and new ideas which is why I feel I've been feeling stuck in a rut lately...
So I've decided to do a series on this blog here, "Traveling in Time" where I share images and memories from my past and hopefully fuel that fire once more to be able to travel again. Here are some images I took at my one day stopover in Singapore (circa 2003). Please bear in mind that this was when digital cameras were at a whopping 2.3 megapixels and these were all from a moving vehicle of some sort (either by bus or boat). In saying that I decided to spice up these images I had with a little crazy color palette!
My first memories of Singapore were a metropolitan city, where it was similar to New Zealand in some senses, beyond humid - seriously as soon as you step out of the aaaaah of the a/c'd airport a wall of thick, hot, damp air will hit ya! I remember it being one of the cleanest places I've ever been to as well!
