Mathematical Office Supply Sculptures

Like Zachary Abel, I am often drawn to geometric forms and am fascinated by the fact that it can be found in nature organically. Unlike Mr. Abel however, I don't think I'd have the conception to create such beautiful mathematical forms out of ordinary household objects such as paper clips, binder clips, and rubber bands to name a few! It probably helps that he is a 2nd year Ph.D. student at MIT... See many more wonderful forms here.

ISLICE

Dear iSlice Boxcutter - why could you have not been invented when I was in college and probably could've avoided all the blisters and calluses left by your inferior counterparts?! All those countless hours spent trying to cut foam core and mat board with a regualr box cutter - ugh! Guess it could be a designer's right of passage to have "battle scars"?

This cutter is supposedly 10 times sharper, lasts 20 times longer and never rusts.
